I am looking for information on how communities deal with Property Tax Exemptions. Currently the city of Rugby collects the application and refers it to the Rugby JDA board to approve and recommend to the city council and then they give final approval.
Also I would like to collect as much information as possible concerning what kind of new construction or rehabilitation incentives does your community provide to new or existing residents. Example: Free sewer and garbage for a year if you build a new house.
The city council wants me to report to them at thier August meeting concerning property tax incentives and community incentives for residents.
